Foraging

Took a trip to the coast last weekend and went mushroom hunting on my friend Maegan's farm outside Yachats.

Dick marks the spot.

Unfortunately this photo does not do this amazingly pristine and beautiful bunch of Chanterelles justice.

Josh with a gold mine of chanterelles.

Alex with a beautiful hand caught Dungeness Crab (Cancer magister), fucking delicious.

Some Birch Boletes (Leccinum scabrum) Alex found on the biking trail between our houses.

Alex with Birch Boletes- their huge! but unfortunately only mildly tasty.

Abby with one of many gorgeous chantrelles, after the coast we made the raddest crab/mushroom meal- mushroom season rules.
