Fuk the posers
These two photos are from the Corvallis skate contest two weekends ago. Kinda crazy, thought it was gonna be canceled cause it was rainin, but the bowl is under an overpass, so it was a bowl contest. The contestants didn't have runs, but instead it was 3 at a time free jam-gnarly. 3 dudes tryin to skate 1 small bowl at a time was like somethin outta skate or die. The best part was that some kids had tagged up the bowl the night before with "RIP Kurt Cobaine 1967-1994, Nirvana, Fuk the Posers."
Adorable.
I'm comin up this weekend if ya'll wanna skate. Its sposed to be dry and AJJ will be in town on Sat. EK is also down, lets shoot some photos.

Foraging
Took a trip to the coast last weekend and went mushroom hunting on my friend Maegan's farm outside Yachats.
Unfortunately this photo does not do this amazingly pristine and beautiful bunch of Chanterelles justice.
Oregon Wildlife thus far
Rough Skinned Newt (Taricha granulosa) found this little dude well hunting for crayfish for a good ol crawfish broil.
This is an Ermine (Mustela erminea) I saw in Coos Bay, super curious and adorable, but fast and hard to photograph. After 20 mins or so he gathered the courage to walk up and sniff my shoe.
Northwestern Salamander (Ambystoma gracile) we saw well mushroom hunting.
Pacific Giant Salamander (Dicampton tenebrosus) this guy was huge and badass looking, same forest.
A pissed Red Rock Crab (Cancer Productis) caught in Newport, he made for good eatin.
This tiny little guy may be a Western Red-backed Salamander (Plethedon vehiculum) but I am not sure, he was so tiny I would have needed a macro lens. He was also in that same mushroom forest.
