Marine Bio Favorites from Monterey Bay
This may be my favorite picture I have taken thus far with this camera. Not sure what it is about it, but I love how it came out. My professor Alan Shanks fishin for phytoplankton.
Carmel river mouth, this is where the river hits the ocean, I took this picture standing in the waves looking up the Carmel River. If you look, you can see two small Canada Geese and one is shaking out his feathers.
Sun rising over the Carmel Lagoon. The river would fill up this lagoon behind our sight until it was full enough to breach the beach berm and then it would erode it all away and drain into the sea at the spot from the previous photo, tons of birds, good spot to swim.
Eeeaarly mornings, took this right before the sun went up. Cold as shit, trying to get things done at low tide.

Earthquake Chasers
my raging good time party band said gun went on a two day California excursion of destruction, we took little photos, but we did take alot of names. We were suppose to play a house show in thousand oaks but right before we started the fuzz arrived, so we drank all the homebrew we were suppose to sell and made mangria (red wine and coca-cola) This is a photo of the mess we made of ourselves. Not sure what is happening. But its the only photo of the 'oaks
We played in Riverside the next night in the basement of a gay bar/coffee shop, bummed the people out that we weren't bears. We then stayed in a historic mansion built in the 1800's. We went on this trip with our homies in Come On Die Young, who know the grounds keeper here. The party mansion has a carriage house where the dude lives, but since there was 9 of us, some of us had to sleep in the yard. Shit was tight. This photo doesn't do the haunted party mansion justice.
Prerequisite cell phone hipster-matic road shot
I was full bearded and cowboy hat-less when we left Phoenix, this is how i arrived.

No Gloves, No Love
Another session from the last days of the mini ramp. Join Dan and Loren as they take a last few laps around the skate track.
I miss Mel Gibson and topless bong rip girl terribly. I hope they are safe somewhere...
